Photo Slideshow: Tara Oceans
Former UA postdoctoral fellow Melissa Duhaime joined the crew of the Tara Oceans expedition for one month sailing from Valparaiso, Chile, to Easter Island, Chile, in the South Pacific Ocean. Braving cramped quarters and the swells of the high seas, she collected ocean viruses from some of the most remote places on the planet.
