Partnership Brings Together UA, Mexico Musicians
Edward Reid, head of the UA trumpet studio, and Alexander Fruend, a trumpet professor with the Conservatorio de las Rosas in Mexico, collaborated on a musical showcase co-sponsored by the Mexican Consulate in Tucson. "El Festival de las Trompetas" brought students and faculty members from both institutions together on works that featured various brass ensemble combinations.
