Brian Schmidt, UA alumnus and winner of the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics, spoke before hundreds of master's and doctoral students during the May 11 commencement ceremony. His speech stressed the importance of chasing one’s dreams and how an advanced degree can afford graduates the confidence and flexibility needed to succeed.
