Arizona Athletics and UA Alumni Association personnel are traveling around the state to meet Wildcat fans in a month-long series of school-spirit events.
Arizona Athletics and the University of Arizona Alumni Association are hitting the road again to visit Wildcat Nation.
Director of Athletics Greg Byrne and UA Alumni Association President Melinda Burke along with head coaches Rich Rodriguez, Sean Miller and Niya Butts invite fans to come out and support the program during the month-long road tour, which stops next May 16 in Tempe, Ariz.
The mission of the trip is to spark interest in Arizona's 19 intercollegiate teams and discuss the department's long-term goals for success.
Arizona Athletics appreciates every Arizona fan that comes to visit the Wildcats in Tucson, and this is its time to visit Wildcat fans across the Grand Canyon State.
Each event will be family-friendly and feature opportunities to win Arizona prizes; meet Byrne and the head coaches; visit with notable Arizona alumni and fellow Arizona fans; and purchase 2012 Arizona football season tickets.
Brad Lundquist is supporting the Wildcats again this year. He will be driving Byrne and staff to a few stops around the state in his RV. The RV will be carrying the UA flag and sporting UA colors so fans know the Wildcats are entering their city.
Several coaches have made plans to attend the events. Because of practice and recruiting schedules, not all coaches will be able to join the road tour.
