Ten Former Wildcats on NBA Rosters
Arizona has produced 10 or more professionals in nine of the last 12 seasons.
Ten former University of Arizona men's basketball players were on active National Basketball Association rosters as the league opened the 2011-12 season last week.
According to rosters listed on the NBA official website as of Dec. 24, the list of active players includes:
Jerryd Bayless (Toronto Raptors), Mike Bibby (New York Knicks), Chase Budinger (Houston Rockets), Channing Frye (Phoenix Suns), Jordan Hill (Houston Rockets), Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia 76ers), Richard Jefferson (San Antonio Spurs), Jason Terry (Dallas Mavericks), Luke Walton (Los Angeles Lakers) and Derrick Williams (Minnesota Timberwolves).
Arizona is tied for eighth nationally in terms of active NBA player production. Here is the complete list:
