<p>UA Sarver Heart Center Director Dr. Gordon A. Ewy was co-chairman of a session on emergency cardiac care at the National Scientific Sessions of the American College of Cardiology (ACC).<br /><br />Ewy co-chaired the ACC's 31st Annual Bethesda Conference on emergency cardiac care, bringing together experts in that field to develop a set of recommendations to improve the outcomes of patients requiring emergency cardiac care.<br /><br />Dr. Karl B. Kern, a UA Sarver Heart Center member, presented the task force conclusions.<br /><br /></p>
