University of Arizona President Robert Shelton will assist students as they begin moving in to UA residence halls tomorrow, Aug. 16. President Shelton will join 219 resident assistants to greet approximately 6,000 students moving into their new residence hall.
His participation is part of the annual Wildcat Welcome for thousands of new and returning UA students.
The Wildcat Welcome activities and special services are organized annually to assist students with their transition back to school for the fall semester. Wildcat Welcome continues through the first week of classes.
Approximately 6,000 students are expected to reside in the 21 residence halls on the UA campus.
Classes begin on Monday, Aug. 20.
