<p>Aaron D. Farnsworth, a senior in the University of Arizona journalism department, is among the 20 finalists in the photojournalism competition of the Hearst Journalism Awards Program. <br /><br />Farnsworth tied for 19th place and will receive an award certificate. The winners were selected from among 60 entries submitted from 35 schools. <br /><br />The annual photojournalism competition is held in more than 100 member colleges and universities of the Association of Schools of Journalism and Mass Communication with accredited undergraduate journalism programs.<br /><br />Entries were in the categories of feature and portrait/personality. <br /><br />Farnsworth's photographs included a portrait of convicted murderer Jason Doty taken at his sentencing in Tucson and a shot of a sad clown in Tombstone.<br /><br /><br /><br /></p>
