The University of Arizona's Educational Interpreting Program teaches students to become interpret
The annual event filled weekend will take place Oct. 8-10 and brings together 1500 families with their UA student.
Family Weekend at the University of Arizona has been rescheduled for Oct. 8-10. The change moves the weekend from its previously scheduled date in September.
Activities for Family Weekend begin on Friday, Oct. 8, and include the UA football team facing off against Oregon State University on Sat., Oct. 9.
Approximately 1,500 families gather during Family Weekend for activities on the UA Mall, a family barbecue, a Zona Zoo tailgate prior to the football game, arts and entertainment opportunities, meet-and-greet with UA faculty and their departments and guided tours of the unique features of the UA campus.
Families interested in registering and keeping current with events scheduled for the weekend should visit the Family Weekend Web site as events will be added over the coming months.
