The defending national champion Arizona baseball team opens its season on Feb. 15 against Coppin State, but there still is plenty of time for Wildcats fans to purchase their tickets, meet the team and mark their calendars for a season chock-full of big games and fun promotions at Hi Corbett Field.

Demand is at an all-time high for Arizona baseball, if ticket sales are any indication. Season tickets in reserved areas are sold out, but seats are available in the general admission seating areas, which include the grandstands behind the first base (Wildcats) and third base (visitors) dugouts. General admission season tickets are a great value for any Wildcats fan and are available for less than $4 per game.

Arizona fans also have a new ticket option currently on sale – a 7-Game Mini-Plan. The mini-plan allows fans to purchase general admission tickets to any seven home games at Hi Corbett Field that they choose, including opening night and both home games versus Arizona State University, for $42 (adult), $28 (senior citizen) and $28 (youth).

Individual game tickets will go on sale for all Arizona home games beginning Feb. 1 at 9 a.m. All ticket options can be purchased online, in person at the McKale Ticket Office or by calling 520-621-CATS.

The first opportunity for fans to catch the Wildcats in action will be at Meet the Team Day on Feb. 2. Gates at Hi Corbett Field will open at 10 a.m. for batting practice, followed by an intrasquad scrimmage at noon and a post-game autograph session with head coach Andy Lopez and the 2013 Arizona baseball team.

Admission and parking to Meet the Team Day is free, with seating available on a first-come, first-serve basis in all areas (no reserved seating for this event). Concessions, schedule cards and posters will be available, and fans can purchase season tickets, mini-plans or individual game tickets on site for the upcoming season.

Arizona then will open its 2013 promotional schedule on opening day (Feb. 15) with a special National Championship recognition night. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative 2012 national championship rally towel, and there will be a postgame fireworks show.

Select stars from the championship team will be on hand for a pregame autograph session. They also will throw out the first pitch for the 6 p.m. game.

Arizona will host 38 games at Hi Corbett Field this spring. Be sure to check out all of the season and individual game promotions at www.arizonawildcats.com.
