Top-25 Cats, Bruins to Clash in Pasadena

The No. 24-ranked Arizona football team (5-3, 2-3 Pac-12) heads to the Rose Bowl to take on No. 25 UCLA (6-2, 3-2 Pac-12) on Nov. 3. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m., and the game will air on the Pac-12 Networks. The game will be a head-to-head matchup of the Pac-12's leaders in total offense that will pit experience against youth.

The UA Hispanic Alumni organization, which is celebrating its 30-year anniversary this year, will honor the achievements of UA baseball coach Andy Lopez. The organization is hosting its annual Portraits of Excellence scholarship dinner in November.

After Win, Arizona Football Enters BCS, Associated Press Rankings

After its 39-36 win over then-No. 10 USC, the UA football team now is ranked No. 22 in the BCS Standings. Arizona also is back in the Associated Press Top-25, sitting at No. 24, for the first time since Sept. 16 after the 56-0 win over South Carolina State when the Cats were ranked No. 22.

Cats Ranked No. 12 in Preseason AP Poll

The UA men's basketball team was ranked 12th in the 2012-13 preseason Associated Press poll and will start the season with a top-25 ranking for the second year in a row. The Wildcats will open 2012-13 with an exhibition game against Humboldt State on Oct. 31 at 6:30 p.m. PDT in McKale Memorial Center.

Arizona Swimming, Diving Head Coach Traveling to Istanbul

Eric Hansen, head coach of the UA's swimming and diving team, has been selected to lead the U.S. men's swim team at the Short Course World Championships in Istanbul, Turkey this December. Hansen swam competitively from the age of 5 until he was 26.
