A Top-10 Men's Basketball Showdown at McKale on Saturday

Eighth-ranked Arizona (7-0, 0-0 Pac-12) will return to McKale Memorial Center to host fifth-ranked Florida (7-0, 0-0 SEC) on Dec. 15 on ESPN. The game will be the first in December, and just the fourth of the college basketball season, featuring two top-10 ranked teams. It will be the first time two top-10 teams have met in McKale since Jan. 10, 2004.

Football's Ka'Deem Carey a Consensus All-American

Arizona sophomore running back Ka'Deem Carey has been named an Associated Press First-Team All-American, the news bureau announced this week. With his three awards from the four NCAA-recognized lists that have been announced (The Sporting News, Walter Camp and AP), Carey is a consensus All-American for the 2012 season.

McKale Memorial Center: UA a Step Closer to Expansion

McKale Memorial Center's proposed $80 million renovation could expand the Wildcats' arena outward, improving locker rooms, academic areas, seating, and restroom and concession areas, UA Athletics Director Greg Byrne said. Athletics received approval from the Arizona Board of Regents to seek an architect to begin planning the 39-year-old arena's makeover.

Wildcats Accept Invite for Gildan New Mexico Bowl

UA football has accepted an invitation to play Nevada at the Gildan New Mexico Bowl. The Wildcats' game with the Wolf Pack will be played Dec. 15 and will air nationally on ESPN. Arizona and Nevada have met three previous times on the gridiron, with the series split evenly at 1-1-1.

Wildcats to Host NAU in Intrastate Tilt on Wednesday

The ninth-ranked Arizona men's basketball team (3-0, 0-0 Pac-12) will host Northern Arizona University (2-3, 0-0 Big Sky) on Nov. 28 in McKale Memorial Center. The Wildcats and Lumberjacks will meet for the 122nd time on the hardwood, the third-most games of any series in UA history.

Cats, Devils Eye Territorial Cup

The Wildcats will wrap up the regular football season and host the Sun Devils of ASU in the Territorial Cup game on Nov. 23. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. MT, and the game will air nationally on ESPN. Arizona fans are encouraged to wear red, and the team will wear red uniforms and red helmets.
