Eller in Europe

More than 40 UA students in an Eller College of Management program, along with four instructors, are bound for Europe to study sports management. The students will attend and learn about managing some of the world's most prominent athletic events, including the Tour de France, Wimbledon and the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Arizona, Florida State to Duel for Spot in Championship Series

Arizona, which defeated Florida State 4-3 in 12 innings on June 15, will play the Seminoles again on June 21. If the Wildcats win, they will advance to the College World Series championship round. The game will be televised live on ESPN2 and ESPN3.

UA Divers to Compete in Olympic Trials

Arizona divers Ben Grado and Samantha Pickens are traveling to Federal Way, Wash. this week to compete in the 2012 Olympic Diving Trials. The trials will receive 14 hours of broadcast coverage on NBC and NBC Sports Network from June 19-24.

Wildcats Baseball 2-0 in College World Series

Konner Wade pitched the 100th shutout in College World Series play, and the 4-0 victory over UCLA on June 17 kept Arizona in the winner's bracket. Arizona (45-17) now awaits a date on June 21 with either UCLA or Florida State after elimination play continues.

Nick Ross Named Pac-12 Field Athlete of the Year

Wildcat Nick Ross, a men's track and field team member, was named Pac-12 Field Athlete of the Year – the first time a UA student-athlete has taken the honor since it was instated in 2005. And the honor marks another in a list of awards Wildcats have taken for the 2012 track and field season.

Wildcats to Open College World Series Against Florida State
