Sure, you could find something online, but why not buck the trend and meet face-to-face with your future boss?
The 8th annual Career Expo at The University of Arizona gives students the opportunity to shop for their first real job. About 50 employers from all sectors of the business world will be on campus to court future interns and employees.
The event, hosted by Students in Free Enterprise, is open to all academic majors. For many students it’s the first step in the pursuit of life after college. It’s a chance to ask questions, critique a resume and get a foot in the door of the working world.
Companies sending representatives will include Wal-mart and Sears to Lisa Frank and the Phoenix Suns. Their first piece of advice: Wear something businesslike and bring a resume.
