Michael Speier from Daily Variety to Speak

The School of Media Arts Producing Colloquium presents Michael Speier, executive editor of news for Daily Variety magazine.

Speier previously held the position of special reports managing editor and spent five years as editor of Variety's Gotham Edition and co-television critic. Speier, who joined Variety in 1997 as senior editor of specials, is a 1991 graduate of Syracuse University and has a master of arts degree from the University of North Texas.
