The UA Museum of Art highlights abstract art in the Main Gallery for the summer of 2012, featuring four triptychs of New York artist David Headley. Each is 36 feet wide and a discrete exploration of the endless possible combinations of color, form and gesture. Headley has undertaken to produce 120 giant triptychs. There is an order and plan to the project that is not visible in these few works, but to exhibit the entire series would require the length of 16 football fields. To date, 69 have been completed.
