Joshua Olivera is a California-based artist who recently received his Master of Fine Arts from California State University, Chico. Working mainly on panel with non-traditional materials such as wood stain and chemical reactions, Olivera explores the overlap of the past and the present. His interest in archeology and the shadows of the past creates timeless works that evoke the ancient world.
