Arizona Health Sciences Center Office of Public Affairs
The Office of University Communications distributes media parking passes to reporters covering news on the UA campus. Passes allow reporters to park in any regularly marked space, visitor pay lot or parking meter on campus. The passes cannot be used for personal campus visits. To request a temporary or annual media parking pass, call Lisa Wakefield at 520-621-9017.
Photos/video on campus
News organizations can shoot photos or video in public areas on the UA campus. Media access to University buildings, the campus mall and any other locked area is coordinated through the Office of University Communications.
Filming/taping for commercial purposes, such as television programs, movies and advertisements, must be approved in advance. Approval of filming will require a written agreement with the UA and appropriate insurance. No use of UA trademarks or service marks is permitted without advance written approval.
Call the Office of University Communications to coordinate any commercial filming/taping on campus.
Broadcast facilities and services
The University of Arizona is equipped with an on-campus television studio with satellite uplink capacity, which can be used for remote television interviews.
A radio studio with an ISDN phone line allows for broadcast-quality radio interviews.
Access to these facilities is available for a fee, schedule permitting. For more information contact Arizona Public Media at 520-621-5828.
Visit the UA's Public Records page for more information on how to submit a Freedom of Information Act request.
