The University of Arizona Alumni Association is hosting several events for Wildcat fans and alumni during this year's Holiday Bowl in San Diego.

On Dec. 30 at 5 p.m. (PST), the Arizona Wildcats will face the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a rematch of the 1998 Holiday Bowl. The game will be played at Qualcomm Stadium.

On Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 8 p.m., San Diego Chargers cornerback and former Arizona All-American Antoine Cason will host a Wildcat fan gathering at Float, located on the roof of the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego.

The venue, which overlooks the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego, features lounge seating, flat screen TV's and opium beds, which flank the lounge's fire pits. The event is free to fans 21 years old and over and no reservations are required.

On Dec. 30 from 2-4:30 p.m., the UA Alumni Association will host the official UA Holiday Bowl pregame tailgate party at Qualcomm Stadium Parking Lot L2, which is located on the southeast corner of the stadium grounds.

Wilbur and Wilma Wildcat, the UA cheerleaders and the Pride of Arizona marching band will be on hand to join Wildcat fans as they prepare for Arizona's second consecutive bowl game.

Fans can enjoy grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, ranch beans, potato and fruit salad, potato chips and dessert, in addition to a cash bar (wine, beer and soda only).
