"Holiday Card to Tucson" Concert

The University of Arizona School of Music's choral department announces its annual "Holiday Card to Tucson" concert. This concert has become so popular that a second performance has been added to accommodate the overflow audience.

The performances will feature five choirs with more than 250 singers in some familiar seasonal traditions. The Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus and Tucson Girls Chorus, in
addition to performing with each other and by themselves, will be teamed with the nationally recognized Arizona Choir for some exciting musical moments.

The UA Symphonic Choir, the premiere undergraduate choir in the School of Music, has just been invited to perform for the American Choral Directors Association Conference in March 2010. They will perform several of the works that they will sing for the conference attendees.

In addition, the Arizona Choir and the University Community Chorus will perform seasonal music from around the world, taking advantage of St. Augustine Cathedral's magnificent interior design and acoustic properties.

Come early to get a good seat, as this concert always draws a large audience and is sure to be the perfect beginning to your holiday season.
