Poet Eleni Sikelianos reads from her work, which has been described as “avant-garde pastoral,” and is often about place as seen from an ecological perspective. She was briefly a biology student in her undergraduate career, drawn to oceanography and microbiology, and the language of wild oceanaria and cellular activity has continued to inform her writing.
