Please join African American Student Affairs, Sisters of Unity and our distinguished guests, faculty, students, staff and community members for an interactive evening of reflection and storytelling about the women of (any) color who helped us discover, evolve and emerge through times of transition and personal transformation. In an effort to honor and pay tribute to the unsung heroes of our lives, participants will be asked to relate through whatever means necessary – story, spoken word, poetry, pictures, et cetera – how the impact of powerful women shaped their own personal growth and identity.
