The world-famous Joffrey Ballet was the first dance company to perform at the White House, the first on television and the first American company to tour the former Soviet Union. Founded in 1956, it has toured more than any ballet company and has performed in over 400 cities around the world and in all 50 United States. This season, Centennial Hall is one of only four venues in the U.S. to experience the only quintessentially American ballet company outside its Chicago home.
