Wild, spiritual, provocative, reflective and ecstatically danceable, the Klezmatics fully embrace their Jewish heritage. Their music's essential historical and cultural foundations are a springboard to ambitious new hybrids integrating jazz, gospel, Arab, African and classical influences. The evening will feature selections from "Wonder Wheel," a collection of Woody Guthrie's previously unrecorded Coney Island-inspired Jewish-themed lyrics for which they won a Grammy.
