2009 DLMRS Town and Gown Lecture/GEMS Distinguished Speaker

The Division for Late Medieval and Reformation Studies and the Group for Early Modern Studies present Londa Schiebinger, John L. Hinds Professor of History of Science at Stanford University, director of the Michelle R. Clayman Institute for Gender Research, and author of "Plants and Empire: Colonial Bioprospecting in the Atlantic World" and "Has Feminism Changed Science?"

Schiebinger also is the winner of the Alexander von Humboldt Research Prize and John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship.
