The UA BookStores, Apple Inc. and UITS have partnered to provide an on-campus, safe-for-the-environment and secure-for-you alternative to trashing old computer parts.
Just bring your cyberjunk to the UA BookStores Computer Service Center through Saturday to participate in the green revolution. Have your cyberjunk collection recycled properly and securely and enter to win a free iPod Touch for helping to save the environment when you drop off your cyberjunk.
UA BookStores cannot accept computer equipment owned by the University of Arizona.
The Cyberjunk Collection is safe for the environment as it prevents hazardous elements like lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury and more from being disposed of in landfills. It also is secure for you bcause hard drives are ground to confetti-sized pieces and all asset tags removed before destruction.
