Enjoy looking at museum portraits followed by exercises that engage you in creating your own portrait from a live model. Warm up to basic acrylic techniques - quick paint sketches\, under-painting\, layering paint and mixing flesh tones.Instructor Jo Valandry is an artist and educator with an MFA from The University of Arizona and a BFA from the University of South Dakota in studio art and printmaking.
