13th Annual Graduate College Summer Research Program Poster Session and Closing Ceremony

Seventy-five graduate school-bound juniors and seniors from schools across the United States and Puerto Rico will exhibit their summer research sponsored by the NHLBI Minority Health Disparities Summer Research Opportunities program; the NIH Minority Access to Careers in Research program; the U.S. Department of Education's Ronald E. McNair Achievement program; MDITR Hooked on Photonics Summer Research program; the Mexico Science & Engineering Research program; and the UA-funded Summer Research Insitute. These outstanding students have participated in a 10-week intensive summer research program under the supervision of a UA faculty mentor. They have conducted research in the sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities, and participated in workshops that prepared them for successfully applying to graduate school. These scholars have high academic achievement, strong research experience and a desire to pursue graduate education.

This is an excellent opportunity to recruit top minority students for master's and Ph.D. programs at UA.
