"The Economics and Politics of Health Care: 2008 and Beyond" will be the topic addressed by Robert D. Reischauer, president of the Urban Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan policy research and education organization that examines the social, economic and governance problems facing the nation. He is the former director of the Congressional Budget Office and writes and lectures on topics including Medicare and Medicaid programs.
