A Century-Long Track Record of Serving Arizona and Benefiting the State's Economy
UA Cooperative Extension is celebrating 100 years of serving Arizonans through programs designed to support agriculture, business, community health, the local economy and more. On May 8, 1914, Congress signed the Smith-Lever Act, establishing the Cooperative Extension Service as a national priority. Today, UA Cooperative Extension operates in all 15 Arizona counties, on five reservations and on four military bases.
UA Undergoes Rebranding, Launches Redesigned Website
The official launch of the UA’s new branding – which includes new advertising, a new UA homepage and updated design elements intended to give campus materials a more cohesive look and feel – has begun with a redesigned www.arizona.edu.
Regents' Professor John W. Olsen was presented with the UA Foundation's Eugene G. Sander Endowed Faculty Fundraising Award for his fundraiding efforts in the School of Anthropology and College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
