The University of Arizona

Poster Session and Closing Ceremony of the 17th Annual Undergraduate Research Opportunities Consortium

The University of Arizona community is cordially invited to attend the 17th Annual Undergraduate Research Opportunities Consortium Poster Session and Closing Ceremony.

More than 100 graduate-school-bound juniors and seniors from schools across the United States, Puerto Rico and Latin America will exhibit their summer research sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Education, universities in Mexico and The University of Arizona.

These outstanding students have participated in an intensive 10-week summer research program, worked under the supervision of UA faculty mentors and conducted research in the fields of science, math, engineering, business, social sciences, education and humanities. These talented scholars have a strong interest in research and a desire to pursue graduate education. This is an excellent opportunity to recruit top, underrepresented students for master's and Ph.D. programs at the UA.

This two-hour poster session is open to the campus and the local community. Poster session is 1 to 3 p.m., and Closing ceremony is 3:30 to 5 p.m.
