Panel Discussion - 'The Politics of Science, Health and Education: What You Should Know Before the Election'

Sometimes it is difficult to stay abreast of the current issues and feel adequately informed about what is going on in government and politics. Sometimes we feel like we can't make a difference or have our voices properly heard by our representatives. Sometimes we don't feel inclined to vote or participate.

The University of Arizona Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP) Ambassadors are hosting a panel called "The Politics of Science, Health and Education: What You Should Know Before The Election." For this panel, we have invited experts from the fields of science, health, education and government to help students on campus and the public become informed on the issues that are especially important for the upcoming election. Moderated by the UBRP Ambassadors, these experts will discuss a variety of topics that relate politics and government to science, health and education, and it will be formatted as an open Q&A session between the panelists and the audience.
