Laser Fun Day

The UA College of Optical Sciences will hold its fourth annual Laser Fun Day as SOCk, its undergraduate and graduate student organization, brings the science of optics alive for area elementary and middle-school children. Admission is free and open to the public.

Laser Fun Day will again feature its overwhelmingly popular laser maze and treasure hunt, and new this year are booths about images, lasers and optics in space. Exhibits include a 6-foot kaleidoscope, laser radios, solar telescopes and an infrared camera, all of which illustrate different applications and properties of light.

Laser Fun Day is made possible through the generous support of the Center for Integrated Access Networks, the Optical Society of America, and the Society of Photo-optical Instrumentation Engineers.
