The University of Arizona

The Lunar and Planetary Laboratory Presents 'The Art of Planetary Science: An Exhibition'

Science is elegant and beautiful and creating scientific knowledge is not unlike creating art. We will present works inspired by planetary science alongside works created from scientific data itself. We hope "The Art of Planetary Science: An Exhibition" will bring together the science and art communities in Tucson to enjoy and be inspired by our universe.

Artists and scientists are invited to submit art inspired by planetary science and the solar system for display. Visual art of all types and levels, including 2D, 3D, film and written works are welcome. Check out our website at http://www.lpl.arizona.edu/art for plenty of amazing inspiration, such as NASA images and planetary maps, as well as the exhibition prospectus and information on awards and prizes.
