The University of Arizona

2013 Chinese New Year Festival

The Confucius Institute at the University of Arizona and the Tucson Sino Choir are proud to present the largest Chinese New Year’s festival in Arizona.

Celebrating a tradition thousands of years old, the extravaganza features performances by Shaolin Martial Arts Masters Junming Zhao & Shi Yanqing, Chinese stunt performer Zhigang Chen and classical violist Hongmei Xiao. Joining the festivities are local performers, the Sonoran Sound Quartet, Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus, Chinese dancer Lucy Chen and Tucson Sino Dance. Don’t miss this fusion of east and west sound.
