Borderlands Community Film Series: 'The Ballad of Esequiel Hernandez'

"The Ballad of Esequiel Hernandez" tells the tragic story of a young west Texas student killed in 1997 by U.S. Marines patrolling the U.S.-Mexico border. Isabel Garcia of Derechos Humanos will speak about her experience with the legal proceedings that followed his death. Sponsored by the UA Center for Latin American Studies.
