Marc L. Miller Named Dean of James E. Rogers College of Law
After an extensive national search, Arizona Law professor Marc L. Miller has been appointed dean of the UA James E. Rogers College of Law, effective immediately. Miller has been serving as interim dean since November. Miller is the 12th permanent dean to occupy the position since the law school was founded in 1915.
Eller College to Bring MBA Program Online
The UA Eller College of Management's internationally recognized MBA program will be available online beginning this fall. Applications for the program now are being accepted. With a focus on innovation, application and communication, the Eller MBA experience is designed to give graduates what they need to effectively lead in today's changing global marketplace.
UA Spin-Off to Test Cancer-Preventing Drug Combination
The UA spin-off company Cancer Prevention Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is building on systematic basic research by UA researchers that explored molecular mechanisms underlying tumor growth. The company is embarking on a clinical trial to prevent the occurrence of colorectal cancer or high-risk polyps in colon cancer survivors.
