Setting a UA men's basketball record is no easy feat. But the Wildcats did it Sunday night with a 73-53 win over USC, which pushed the team to 17-0 and the record for the best start in school history.
It's not unusual for the UA to recognize the contributions of the men and women who serve in the armed forces.
So nothing seemed out of the ordinary when Arizona Wildcats fan Tanya Campbell – wife of Master Sgt. Chris Campbell of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base – and their children, Alexander and Amelia, were called to the floor of the McKale Memorial Center on Thursday evening to be thanked for the sacrifices they have made during Campbell's deployment to Asia.
The Arizona Wildcats enjoy an overall 47-38-1 advantage in the all-time football rivalry against Arizona State – and the vast majority of the greatest all-time Territorial Cup comebacks have also come courtesy of the UA.
